ÜBER MEINE ARBEIT
Wenn ich male öffnet sich in mir ein ungeahnter Freiraum. Dort bin ich ganz bei mir und öffne mich für Farben und ihrem Wunsch des Sichtbarwerdens.
Ich liebe die Farbe SCHWARZ. In der Tiefe dieser Farbe verbirgt sich alles Entstehende. Meine Bilder entwickeln sich aus dieser Tiefe und führen mich im Entstehen in einen weiten, künstlerischen Freiraum.
ÜBER DIE KÜNSTLERIN
... die Ansbacher Künstlerin malt abstrakt und intuitiv. Sie lässt sich beim Malen von den Strukturen leiten. So entstehen dynamische, rhythmisch belebte, gut propotionierte Farbräume. Voller Details sind sie, erdig-rissig können die sein, oder geädert wie Blätter. Noch den schwärzesten Bildern ist etwas Organisches zu eigen. ...

Using different and well-assorted techniques and oneiric hints, she creates a world of its own that is filled with life.
She uses acrylic paint and a variety of materials (moor, mud, sand, marble, stones, wood, ink and much more). Her artwork is free and intuitive. It is important for herself to express her personal understanding of harmony, aesthetics and silence. Her art is non-objective, therefore it grants the beholder his own access to art. Furthermore, expressing herself through painting, is one of the key aspects of her life. The dialogue with the viewer is a great personal enrichment to herself.

Her artworks are the testimony of a unique research in which shapes and colors merge into a perfect harmony, a set of innovative forms and almost photographic images, an inner search of emotions and various passions so well expressed through bright colors. Susanne Wolfsgruber´s work, exalts colors and shapes, producing original paintings made by using various materials that raise mixed and opposing emotions in the observer. The artist does not follow a specific art trend, there are no pre-established currents, because she offers her personal visions and intimate point of view by using advanced and refined techniques. The artist enchants the beholder with naturalistic transparencies, rarefied atmospheres which call to mind nature, fantastic places and refraction of lights.
